Burntide Label Glossary A to Z: Supplement Facts Words Explained

A supplement label is short and dense. Each word on it is there for a reason, and some words say less than they seem to. This glossary walks through the Burntide label one term at a time, in plain English.

Quick answer

The Burntide label shows a 525 mg proprietary blend of apple cider vinegar and BHB salts, with no split between the two. Each gummy weighs 2.5 g and holds 2 g of sugars. The label also prints directions, a caution block and a revision date, REV 04/24. This glossary explains each term simply.

Key facts
  • Serving: 1 gummy, 2.5 g, with 30 servings per container.
  • Proprietary blend: 525 mg of apple cider vinegar plus BHB calcium, magnesium and sodium. The split is not published.
  • Sugars: 2 g total sugars per gummy, with 1 g added sugar (2% Daily Value).
  • Minerals: calcium 1 mg, magnesium 0.75 mg and sodium 2.5 mg, each at 0% Daily Value.
  • Label revision: REV 04/24, printed on the jar. Lot BUR-26/BU-7063.

General information, not medical advice. Burntide is a dietary supplement for healthy adults aged 18 and over. It is not a drug, it is not FDA approved, and no supplement is. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you take medicine, are under a physician’s care, or are pregnant or nursing, ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.

What is on the Burntide label?

Start with the front of the jar. It says Burntide, Weight Loss Support, Dietary Supplement and 30 Gummies. Those four items are the whole front panel.

The back holds everything that matters. You will find the Supplement Facts panel, the suggested use, a caution block, a storage line, the name of the distributor and the revision date. It is a lot of text in a small space.

Here is the panel itself. We copy each line as printed, because a label is only useful when you read what it actually says.

Notice how short the list is. Eight lines, and only one of them, the blend, describes the two ingredients people ask about most.

What do the label terms A to C mean?

Added sugars
Sugar put in during making, not sugar that comes with a food by nature. The panel shows 1 g of added sugar per gummy, which is 2% of the Daily Value. The other ingredients name corn syrup and pure cane sugar.
Assembled in the USA
This is the label's own phrase. It says where the product was put together. It does not say where each ingredient came from, and the label does not say that either.
Best-before date
The date by which the maker suggests using the jar. It is printed on the base of the jar together with the lot, where the bottle shows it.
Blend, proprietary
A group of ingredients listed under one total weight. Here the total is 525 mg. The label does not say how much of that is vinegar and how much is BHB salts.
Calories
The energy in one serving. One Burntide gummy carries 8 calories, which is a small number for a sweet.
Caution block
The warning text printed on the jar. It tells anyone under a physician's care or taking medication to consult a healthcare professional first. It tells anyone pregnant or nursing not to use the product without consulting a physician.
Certificate of analysis (CoA) reference
A code that points to a lab document for a batch. The reference for this lot is BUR-7063-26-BU. This desk holds the reference and has not read the document itself.

What do the label terms D to M mean?

Dagger (†)
A small mark next to a line on the panel. It points to a note that says a Daily Value is not established. Total Sugars and the blend both carry it.
Daily Value (% DV)
A yardstick that compares one serving with a typical day's need for a nutrient. A figure of 0% means the amount is tiny against that yardstick. Calcium at 1 mg, magnesium at 0.75 mg and sodium at 2.5 mg all show 0%.
Directions (suggested use)
The instruction line. It reads: adults, take one (1) gummy daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional, about 30 minutes before a morning or afternoon meal, with a full glass of water.
Distributor
The company named on the jar as the one that distributes it: BURNTIDE, 11870 62nd St N, Largo, FL 33773. A distributor is often not the shop that sells to you.
FDA disclaimer
The sentence that says the statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and that the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It is printed under the claims.
Lot number
A batch code. It lets a seller trace which production run a jar came from. The lot on this site is BUR-26/BU-7063.
Minerals (calcium, magnesium, sodium)
Three small lines on the panel. They appear because the BHB salts are bound to these minerals. At 1 mg, 0.75 mg and 2.5 mg, nobody is using this gummy as a mineral supplement.

What do the label terms O to T mean?

Other ingredients
Everything in the gummy that is not a named active. For Burntide this is: corn syrup, purified water, pure cane sugar, apple pectin, citric acid, sodium citrate, tapioca starch, natural flavors and beet root powder.
Per serving
Every figure on the panel is for one gummy, not for the jar. A jar holds 30 servings.
Revision date (REV 04/24)
A print code that tells you which version of the label you hold. If your jar shows a different code, the label may have changed since this page was written, and the jar is right.
Safety seal
The printed rule is clear: do not use the product if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
Serving size and servings per container
One gummy is one serving, and the jar holds 30 of them. At one a day, a jar lasts 30 days.
Structure/function statement
A claim about how a nutrient supports a normal body process. It is not a claim that a product treats a disease. The jar prints five of them, and the FDA disclaimer sits beneath them.
Total carbohydrates and total sugars
Carbohydrates are 2 g per gummy (1% Daily Value). Sugars are 2 g of that. These are the lines to check if you count carbs or sugar.

Why does the label not split the 525 mg blend?

This is the one gap that matters most. Burntide lists its two actives as one blend under one total weight. So the label says 525 mg and stops.

It is worth seeing what the gap means in practice. The studies on apple cider vinegar used 15 to 30 mL of liquid vinegar a day. The studies on BHB salts used doses measured in grams. The whole blend in one gummy is 525 mg. That is smaller than either research dose, even if every milligram were one ingredient.

So the label cannot tell you that you are getting a studied amount of either one. It does not claim to, and this site does not claim it for the maker.

Plain reading: the 525 mg figure is real. The split inside it is not published. Treat any page that gives you a split as guessing.

How can you check your own jar against this glossary?

A short walk-through takes about a minute. Do it when the jar arrives, and keep it as a habit for every supplement you buy.

  1. Look at the safety seal. If it is damaged or missing, do not use the jar.
  2. Find the revision code in the corner and compare it with REV 04/24.
  3. Read the lot and the best-before date on the base of the jar.
  4. Read the Supplement Facts panel and confirm it names a 525 mg blend with both actives.
  5. Read the other-ingredients line if you avoid corn, apple, beet or added sugar.
  6. Read the caution block, then decide whether you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist first.

If anything on your jar disagrees with this page, trust the jar. Then write to the website desk so the page can be fixed.

What does the Burntide label not tell you?

A good glossary should also list the blanks. These are the items a reader may expect and cannot find.

Frequently asked questions

What does proprietary blend mean on the Burntide label?

It means the maker lists a group of ingredients under one total weight. For Burntide the total is 525 mg, and the split between apple cider vinegar and the BHB salts is not published.

How much sugar is in one Burntide gummy?

The panel shows 2 g of total sugars per gummy. Of that, 1 g is added sugar, which is 2% of the Daily Value. Corn syrup and pure cane sugar are named in the other ingredients.

What does REV 04/24 mean on the jar?

It is the label revision code. It tells you which version of the label you are holding, so you can compare it with the version described on this website.

Why are calcium, magnesium and sodium on the panel?

They come with the BHB salts, which are bound to those minerals. The amounts are 1 mg, 0.75 mg and 2.5 mg per gummy, and each shows 0% Daily Value.

Is the Burntide label approved by the FDA?

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold, and Burntide is not FDA approved. The label carries the standard FDA disclaimer instead.

Where do I find the lot number?

The lot is printed on the base of the jar together with the best-before date, where the bottle shows it. The lot on this website is BUR-26/BU-7063.

Our view

A label is the most honest document a supplement has, because the maker must print it. Reading it slowly pays off. The Burntide label is clear about the serving, the sugars, the minerals and the caution. It is silent on one thing that matters: how the 525 mg blend divides.

That silence is not a reason to panic. It is a reason to be realistic. The gummy is a small daily habit for healthy adults, and it makes support statements, not promises. Read the panel, read the caution, and ask a doctor or pharmacist if you take medicine.

If you decide to try it, the sixty-day guarantee gives you time to judge it fairly. If you decide not to, you lost nothing but a few minutes of reading.
